FA 4890-06-D-0001 TSD has been a key player implementing the United States Air Force's newest high density instrumented Combat Training System. Previous systems required extensive and costly ground infrastructure to allow the capture of training data and suffered mission data loss or drop-out when operating beyond the limitations of tethered ranges. P5CTS builds on the legacy of the P4RC system by taking a “train anywhere” post-mission capable system adding an air-to-air data link, to provide Real Time Kill Notification (RTKN), and an air-to-ground data link for live monitor. P5CTS offers the Air Force the tools to optimize pilot training in both air-to-air and air-to-ground combat training scenarios and accomplish this in any available training airspace. BSE is proud to provide Operation and Maintenance support for these systems and continues to excel in finding the most efficient ways to maintain them.
